Not remotely. In fact, my documentary style tends to work particularly well for couples who don't love having a camera pointed at them. You won't spend the day being told where to stand or what expression to make. When a little guidance helps, I'll give it. The rest of the time, enjoy your wedding.
WILL YOU STILL TAKE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHS?
Of course. There are photographs that matter to parents, grandparents and families, and documentary photography isn't an excuse to ignore them. We'll organise those efficiently and then get everyone back to the celebration.
CAN WE HAVE PHOTOGRAPHS AROUND LYTHAM SEAFRONT?
Yes, if it makes sense with your venue, timings and the weather. Lytham Green, the coastline and the wider St Annes area can all work brilliantly, but I'm not interested in dragging you away from your guests for an hour just because there's a nice view. Ten relaxed minutes at the right time can often achieve far more.
